Ways of thinking
These pictures do not promote any particular conclusions, but only show some of the possible ways of thinking. 1. Some people take the view that there is no God, only humanity, and that we are part of nature. 2. You might think that God and Nature are one and the same, containing us. 3. Others believe that God has an existence that is bigger than nature, while humanity exists partly in nature and partly outside of nature but in the realm of God. 4. 'Dualists' maintain that there are two worlds with little or no overlap – the observable physical world and the spiritual world of God. Humanity exists partly within nature but with aspirations of a spiritual existence. 5. Some even suggest that both Nature and God are created by our own minds, and have no reality outside of ourselves.
